The Rocket Science Improv Show is BACK!

On Saturday, March 16th, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood, we’ve got an amazing, FREE, improv show featuring three great improv teams. Do the logos for all three of these teams feature horn-billed creatures? Was this meticulously planned by the engineers at Rocket Science? Guess you’ll just have to come out and learn for yourself.

This week’s show brings teams from across the southland with the sole purpose of getting your Saturday night started off right. Check it out:

Vanguard Friends of the show and incredible performers, Vanguard is back! We like this team so much that we’ve asked them to return and share the “bill” with us. (Yes, that’s a duck joke.) This troupe grew out of Jay Sukow’s Level 701 Ensemble class at the Westside Comedy Theater. They continue to rehearse an perform together and put out a consistently enjoyable show.

Solid Dad is Charlie Lind, Eleanor Aspinall, Jake Andrews, and Sam Landers. The players on this team hearld from all over: UCB NY & LA, io Chicago, Second City, Comedy Sportz, etc. etc. They are coached by Marina Mastros and have been performing for about a year now. Lately they’ve been experimenting with a new improv form called Nightmare.

Forever Team features Austin Green, Roberto Lewis, Christina Lopez, Ali Maher, Zak Roland, Alexander Srour, Lindsay Weglarz, and Jerry Witt. They are coached by Amanda Blake Davis. Forever Team takes audiences on a delightful, magical journey based on a single suggestion. Check out their Facebook page too.

Remember, The Improv Space has a very liberal libations policy. Please feel free to bring the food (or beverage!) of your choice.
