Special Pre-Valentine’s Day Show at Rocket Science

As Lin-Manuel Miranda says, “Love is Love is Love is Love is Love.” This Rocket Science Improv Show aims to prove it. In this special pre-Valentine’s Day show all three teams will be taking suggestions around love and romance. Saturday, February 10th at 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood we lovingly present the most romantic (and alluring) FREE improv show you have ever seen. We have three amazing teams lined up for your entertainment.

Girls in the Pool features Clayton Porter, Charlie Lind, Aarthi Devanathan, Donald Saunderson, Natasha Kanury, Kristina Woo, Kristen Geiger, and Gary Wilkerson. They are coached by Jesse Neil and perform a Spoke-cane. With your one word, romantic suggestion they will tell a funny story and build a world — and no one knows where it will end up.

Feral Children Improv is a team formed from students at UCB and coached by Londale Theus Jr. The team features Jonathan Payne, Maxwell Kessler, Katey Zouck,David Adler, and Cailey Follet. They are a dark comedy improv group, obsessed with Film Noir. So you know their performance will be riddled with unrequited love, betrayal and revenge.

Room 604  presents a brand of Close Quarters Improv that takes you to the heart of any city or town. The entire show is based on a business or location that you can find in your home town. They’ve taken audiences to gas stations, post offices, day spas, and dive bars. This time around we will be taking you to the most romantic get-away you can imagine. Room 604 is coached by Rich Baker and features Jerry Witt, Mark D Allen, Breeze Geier, and Kerry Knuppe.

This show is the perfect romantic start to your Saturday evening. The theater has a liberal libation policy so feel free to bring your choice of beverage. Bring a date (or two!)
