The Rocket Science Incredible Improv Experiment Continues Saturday 4/6

The Rocket Science Improv Show is back on Saturday, April 6th, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood. We’ve got an amazing, FREE, improv show featuring three fantastic teams. We scoured the planet (or at least the Los Angeles region) to bring you a show that is guaranteed to wow you. Check out this line-up:

Blockbuster performs a condensed BLOCKBUSTER movie that has never been seen before – live! No computer-generated imagery, no pyrotechnics, no special effects; just the raw intensity of your favorite Hollywood movies.

Tangled Kites is a three man improv team (Jeff Pride, Richard Hughes and Jeff L-E) coached by Greg Hess of Cook County Social Club. They all graduated from UCB and put an emphasis on doing real grounded scenes as well as looking for games. They do a form called the “Oak Tree,” come check it out.

Pick-Up Game is a team formed from some of our favorite players from the Westside Comedy Theater. They usually perform a Pretty Flower, where a simple scene spirals out into exciting worlds with multiple characters, emotional points of view, space and time experimentation, and thoughtful callbacks.

This is going to be a super-fun show. You owe it to yourself to be there.
