Next Rocket Science Improv Show – Saturday, 11/10

The Rocket Science Improv Show is back again on Saturday, November 10th, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood. We’ve got an amazing, FREE, improv show featuring three fantastic improv teams. We’re proud to bring back some of our favorite teams. Room 604 is co-hosting with their stalwart pals from Vanguard. Plus we are pleased to present the return of Pick-Up Game.

Room 604 features Jerry Witt, Mark D Allen, Breeze Geier, Miranda Shade, and Jon Thompson; all of whom attended classes and performed at The Westside Comedy Theater. Room 604 plays a brand of Close Quarters Improv that takes you to the heart of any city or town. The entire show is based on your suggestion of a business or location that you can find in your home town. They’ve taken audiences to gas stations, post offices, day spas, and dive bars. Come see where they’ll take audiences next.

Vanguard We like this team so much that we’ve asked them to co-host with us on the second Saturday of every month. This troupe grew out of Jay Sukow’s Level 701 Ensemble class at the Westside Comedy Theater. They continue to rehearse an perform together and put out a consistently enjoyable show.

Pick-Up Game is a team formed from some of our favorite players from the Westside Comedy Theater: Matthew Schlissel, Andy Eifert McDuffie, Michael Tauzin, Roberto Lewis, Sonia Ulrich, Seth Brown, and Lisa Wyczesany. They usually perform a Pretty Flower, where a simple scene spirals out into exciting worlds with multiple characters, emotional points of view, space and time experimentation, and thoughtful callbacks.

This is going to be a super-fun show. You owe it to yourself to be there.
