FREE Improv Show – Saturday, June 9th

The Rocket Science Improv Show returns on Saturday, June 9th, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood with another free improv show featuring some amazing improv teams. Three great improv teams will light up the stage with performances based on your suggestions. We’re also excited about this particular show because it preceeds The Animal Style Improv Mini-Fest, created by friend of the show, Matt Schlissel. Stick around after Rocket Science and experience close to five hours of the very best improv L.A. has to offer.

Room 604 features Jerry Witt, Mark D Allen, Breeze Geier, Miranda Shade, and Jon Thompson. Room 604 plays a brand of Close Quarters Improv that takes you to the heart of any city or town. The entire show is based on your suggestion of a business or location that you can find in your home town. They’ve taken audiences to gas stations, post offices, day spas, and dive bars. Come see where they’ll take audiences next.

Vanguard We like this team so much that we’ve asked them to co-host with us on the second Saturday of every month. This team grew out of Jay Sukow’s Level 701 Ensemble class at the Westside Comedy Theater. They stuck around with each other and continue to rehearse together and put out a consistently enjoyable show.

Squid Family Robinson has the distinction of being coached by OUR coach, James Heaney. Get ready for bold improv action when this band of 8 adventurers takes the stage. You cannot escape the tentacled grasp of this wild bunch of performers as each new show transports you to an exotic paradise of unpredictable surprises. Once you go Squid, you might never go home. Squid Family Robinson features Shani Kfir, Edan Kfir, Abbie Cunningham, Meryl Goodwin, Whill Reico, Kevin Kurtz, and Sandeep Kondubhatla

This is going to be a super-fun show. You owe it to yourself to be there.
