FREE Improv Show Saturday at 6

This week’s free Rocket Science Improv Show features a return to the classics. On Saturday, September 22nd, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood we present a free improv show featuring three teams we adore. All three teams have recently played at Rocket Science, but we are thrilled to have them back for another round – and an all new show.

Room 604 features Jerry Witt, Mark D Allen, Breeze Geier, Miranda Shade, and Jon Thompson. Room 604 plays a brand of Close Quarters Improv that takes you to the heart of any city or town. The entire show is based on your suggestion of a business or location that you can find in your home town. They’ve taken audiences to gas stations, post offices, day spas, and dive bars. Come see where they’ll take audiences next.

Falcon Quest was at our show just last month and we’re excited to have them back. These vicious improvisational birds of prey are characterized by long, pointed wings & swift, powerful comedy. They are one of the alley teams at the Westside Comedy Theater. Find out more about these birds on their Facebook page.

Squid Family Robinson has the distinction of being the first team to return the very next week. Get ready for bold improv action when this band of adventurers takes the stage. You cannot escape the tentacled grasp of this wild bunch of performers as each new show transports you to an exotic paradise of unpredictable surprises. Once you go Squid, you might never go home. Squid Family Robinson features Shani Kfir, Edan Kfir, Abbie Cunningham, Meryl Goodwin, Whill Reico, Kevin Kurtz, and Sandeep Kondubhatla. They are coached by James Heaney.

Get to the theater early! This past week’s show was standing-room only.
