A Groundhog Day Special – Rocket Science Improv is BACK

February Second is Groundhog Day, and in the spirit of the movie, we are re-running your favorite indie improv event, the Rocket Science Improv Show. This Saturday, February Second at 6 PM at The Improv Space in Westwood we offer an exciting and eclectic, FREE show that features three great improv teams.

Speaking of movies, your host, Blockbuster will perform a condensed BLOCKBUSTER movie that has never been seen before – live! No computer-generated imagery, no pyrotechnics, no special effects; just the raw intensity of your favorite Hollywood movie.

Westside Comedy Theater house team Felix will join us for the first time. These cats (yes, that’s a groan-worthy pun) have been playing together for over a year. They have refined their show at the Westside and we are pumped to have them share the stage.

Sweet Dalai Lama played Rocket Science back in April of last year and we’ve been itching to get them back. This time they are doing a form called “The Soundtrack,” so bring your favorite song titles and get ready to see scenes inspired by your music. Sweet Dalai Lama has been performing together for 7 years and host a bi-weekly party-themed show at The Clubhouse. Performers include: Nick Eliafan, Cozi Orlen, Ryan Turner, Allison Carter Thomas, Lauren Scharf, Patrick Gremillion, and Adam Moshcatel. They are coached byKeith Kingbay and you can learn more about them at https://www.facebook.com/SweetDalaiLama/

Please join us in celebrating the return of Rocket Science and (possibly) six more weeks of winter, if the Groundhog sees his shadow.
