We have some exciting news. The Rocket Science Improv Show is now at The Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica! We will be bringing our collection of the finest indie improv teams to this theater on the first Thursday of every month from 11PM to 12:30 PM. Our first show is fast approaching. On Thursday, August 1st at 11 PM we invite you to come see three teams that are guaranteed to blow your mind.
Blockbuster will perform another condensed BLOCKBUSTER movie that has never been seen before – live! No computer-generated imagery, no pyrotechnics, no special effects; just the raw intensity of your favorite Hollywood movie.
Barbershop presents “A capella improv as fresh as your last haircut.” The team features Thomas Hamilton, Ryan Pigg, Matt Acevedo, Joe Spence, and Robin Kapustin. We had them at a previous Rocket Science show and we are so happy to introduce them to the Westside community.
Impro Mundeando Buckle up for some crazy fun En español! We saw this team at the Clubhouse a few months back and even the folks that didn’t speak Spanish were thrilled and delighted by their fast-paced and playful antics. Don’t speak Spanish? Don’t worry, You’ll be blown away with these crazy characters.
Tickets are just 6 bucks and the Westside Comedy Theater has a wide selection of beer and wine.

For those folks who think an 11PM show is past their bedtime, we are still doing The Rocket Science Show at The Improv Space. On Saturday, August 3rd, 6PM at The Improv Space in Westwood, we invite you to enjoy three other exciting indie teams who all have their roots in the Westside.
Motley Cruise sets sail once again! Recently the Westside Comedy Theater swabbed the decks and broke up the current Alley Teams. Players were placed on other teams, alley teams, and house teams. But these mates love playing together and we love seeing them play. So, anchors away, hoist the mainsail, and get ready t be entertained.
Vanguard is back. At this point we consider these folks “Friends of the Show.” They have appeared in more than 15 Rocket Science shows over the last couple years and are incredible performers, We like this team so much that we’ve asked them to return and share the “bill” with us. (Yes, that’s a duck joke.) This troupe grew out of Jay Sukow’s Level 701 Ensemble class at the Westside Comedy Theater.

PLUS: We’re doing a drawing again! Any audience member (who is not in that show’s line-up) can enter their name and the name of their team into a drawing. We will draw one name and the team they nominate will be invited to appear in the very next Rocket Science show on August 17th with Blockbuster and Room 604. Do you want to get your team more stage time? Do you have an indie experimental improv show you want to put up? Did your WCT Alley Team get split up and you want to play together again? Drop your name into the bucket and you might just find you and your improv team on stage two weeks later on 8/17. That is exactly what Rules of Thor did. Bonus: you’ll get to see THIS fantastic show.
