Rocket Science Improv Show on October 5th

Summer may be over, but the fun times are just getting started. Rocket Science returns to The Improv Space in Westwood with three great teams. Check out this line-up:

Forever Team takes audiences on a delightful, magical journey based on a single suggestion. For this show, they’ve invited a couple previous Forever Team players (Betty Suravech and Al Noel Sansolis, who were traveling the world) to join a couple new players (Ruby Willimann and Carl Meyer-Curtis). They’ll appear with unusual suspects Roberto Lewis, Christina Lopez, Zak Roland, Alexander Srour, Lindsay Weglarz, and Jerry Witt. It should be a fun, crazy, mash-up. For more information check out their Facebook page.

Acid Jacket – Time to fly by the seat of your jacket as friends who met at Westside Comedy Theater bring their mutual love of spontaneity, long sleeves, and the absurd to the stage! This is a BIG team, so get ready for for the possibility of 10 or 11 players up on the Rocket Science stage.

Blockbuster performs a condensed BLOCKBUSTER movie that has never been seen before – live! No computer-generated imagery, no pyrotechnics, no special effects; just the raw intensity of your favorite Hollywood movies. The last couple shows at The Improv Space include the epic film noir, Dracula’s First Date,” and the Sci-Fi with killer aliens: “Attack of the Killer Droids.” Most recently they presented a Western-Pirate hybrid. What movie will they make next? It’s all based on your suggestions.

The Improv Space has a very liberal libations policy. Feel free to bring your food and beverage of choice to enjoy while we perform. See you Saturday!

PLUS: We are doing a drawing again. Any audience member (who is not in that show’s line-up) can enter their name and the name of their team into a drawing. We will draw one name and the team they nominate will be invited to appear in the Rocket Science show on October 19th. Do you want to get your team more stage time? Do you have an indie experimental improv show you want to put up? Drop your name into the bucket and you might just find you and your improv team on stage two weeks later.
